Cookies (and similar technologies like LocalStorage) are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences over a period of time.
We use a minimal set of technologies to make our analytics work:
| Name | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| mcfarm_session_id | LocalStorage | Assigns a random ID to your browser so we can count unique visitors vs. page reloads. |
Since we only use essential tracking for site performance and no advertising trackers, there is no opt-out required by default in many jurisdictions. However, you can always clear your browser cache or browse in "Incognito" mode to prevent this storage.
